The Salt River Rafting difference is the day in and day out presence of the owners Dan, James, Mike & Wiley, both in the office and at the River. We really love what we do and want to share it with you. Don’t just take our word for it, read about the SRR difference from Social Media sites such as Trip Advisor and Yelp. We look forward to seeing you in the Canyon!

Had a great time. The teens LOVED it and are ready for more extreme water rafting. We loved our guide Aaron, very full of information and to hear all that he has done is amazing. Aaron made the trip so much better and the water surfing was so fun and we needed to cool off so that helped. Food was good and the other guides were so helpful, we had so much food we didn’t go away hungry. Loved seeing places that we normally wouldn’t see, AZ is so beautiful, that’s why we live here. Thank you for giving us a great first experience at whitewater rafting….we are hooked. The Henry Clan

This was a great trip (we did the one day trip) and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting or living in AZ. The company was very organized and the raft guides were very nice and laid back. More importantly, they knew their stuff and how to 1.have fun 2. keep clients safe. The area is absolutely beautiful and on an April day the weather was perfect. Our raft guide Frenchie was personable and professional. We also worked with a couple other guides who all took interest in us as well. They seem to have a really cohesive team that allows them to succeed at making customers happy. I would recommend this trip for anyone with a love for adventure. Oh- suggestions: 1. Take a waterproof camera (you will see dozens of beautiful sites and animals) 2. Wear sunscreen and your bathing suit. Go with an open heart and you will make a ton of friends. Trip Advisor

You don’t need to travel far or take a week off to have a white-water experience. Just north of Globe, you can spend a spring day running the rapids through the Salt River Canyon. When we were on the river, there were families and kids of all ages. Our guides gave us excellent instruction and encouragement. Just before the final rapids, we stopped for a riverside cookout. Prime season is March through May. Trips start at about $140 for one day. Details: 800-472-5194 www.raftthesalt.com.
